What is covered under the MyOfficeProducts contract?
MyOfficeProducts (MYOP) was awarded contract line item 0001 for General Office Supplies. Under this CLIN MYOP offers Federal Customers a "Complete" Office Products Procurement Solution. Our contract item list includes everyday general office supplies, paper products, ink and toners. What are the AbilityOne Requirements?
MyOfficeProducts is a proud supporter and authorized distributor under the AbilityOne program (abilityone.gov). The AbilityOne Program provides meaningful employment opportunities for over 50,000 blind or disabled Americans throughout the country, including over 3000 blind and disabled veterans of our armed services. These jobs enable Americans with disabilities the dignity of employment while supplying the Federal government the high quality products and services. The AbilityOne program has strong support in federal procurement law as a mandatory source of supply (Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.7) and is a key component for FSSI OS3 eligibility. [FAR 52.208-9, requires contractors to use mandatory sources of supply or services including AbilityOne items in support of a government contract.] NOTE: All products which have been determined to be essentially the same (ETS) as items available under the AbilityOne Program (formerly JWOD) are excluded for purchase under FSSI OS3. What are the Trade Agreement Act Requirements?
MYOP is required to supply products that conform to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG), when applicable. For more details on the CPG, please visit www.epa.gov/cpg. Federal buyers are required by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act to purchase products containing the highest recycled content practicable. Example: All copier paper shall contain at least 30 percent post-consumer recycled content. In addition to the EPA CPGs MYOP provides Bio-Preferred products (USDA Certified Bio-based products and bio-based products designated by USDA as eligible for Federal Procurement Preference), when applicable. MYOP Points is a reward and incentive program for the exclusive use of our commercial customers. Due to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) restrictions we cannot offer MYOP Points to Federal Customers.
Do we offer Furniture under FSSI OS3?
No - OS3 or Office Supply 3 is limited to General Office Supplies, Paper Products, Ink and Toners. MYOP does offer an extensive selection of furniture products for our Federal customers. These may be purchased through GSA contracts held by our major furniture manufacturing partners with MYOP acting as your "servicing dealer". Or they may be purchased in an Open Market capacity.
